A clear understanding of the interior design process by the client and collaboration between designer and architect resulted in a superb architectural renovation in Roslyn Heights, New York. The mandate was open spaces, sweeping, soaring ceilings and eclectic interiors of custom furniture and accessories. Presiding over the custom designed, channel-back sofa by Henry Chan Furniture, New York is an antique sitting Buddha. The sofa is covered in Clarence House Silk. The custom styled and gilt finished armchairs, also by Henry Chan are covered in embossed black leather rubbed with gold. Dividing the living room area from the media room is an antique five foot blue and gold enamel vase, juxtaposed by the large cachepot centered on the glass dining table. Anchoring the living room area is an exquisite Tibetan rug by Stark Carpet. |
