Kevin J. Maher was the winner of the prestigious Schonbek Room Design Contest. Maher’s design work was featured in Schonbek advertisements that ran in Architectural Digest for several years. The winning design featured a Warren, New Jersey residence. Maher described the winning design as “the new classicism." Schonbek used “The new classicism and how to light it” as a tag line in subsequent advertisements featuring Maher’s design.
